China–Kenya trade facilitation

A direct line between Chinese factories and the Kenyan market.

Wenergize helps makers of solar, battery and electrical products find the right partners in Kenya, understand the rules, and get their products onto shelves. I speak the factory’s language, and I know how Kenyan importers and retailers actually work.

What I do

Market entry advice

A clear picture of demand, pricing, competitors and sales channels before you commit money to Kenya.

Partner and distributor matching

Introductions to importers, distributors and retailers that fit your product and the way you want to sell.

Supplier vetting

For Kenyan buyers: checking the factory, the product and the paperwork before you pay a deposit.

Compliance guidance

Walking you through standards, certification and import requirements so shipments do not get stuck.

Technical interpreting

In-person and remote interpreting for factory visits, trade shows, negotiations and site inspections.

Why Wenergize

I speak the factory’s language

I studied environmental engineering at Tianjin University, taught in Mandarin, and hold HSK 5. I can follow a technical discussion and say it back accurately in English or Swahili.

I understand the products

I worked as a regional sales manager at TZST, a battery manufacturer in Tianjin, and as a technical translator at Solar Panda.

I work the Kenyan market

I manage Ecogo, a solar retail shop in Kenya, so I see every day what retailers ask for. I have also interpreted for Chinese factory engineers visiting Kenyan solar companies. Ecogo is Wenergize’s first client.

How it works

1

A short conversation

You tell me what you make or what you need, and what a good result looks like.

2

A clear plan

I come back with what I would do, who I would talk to, and what it is likely to involve.

3

Support through the first deal

I stay involved while the first introductions, visits and orders happen.

Have a product to bring to Kenya, or a supplier to check?

Tell me a little about it. Whichever way you prefer to talk, WeChat, WhatsApp or email, I’ll come back to you.
